Artist's
Bio
After years of teaching Art and Jewelry Design in California
colleges, Charles Escott turned to jewelry making. The decision
to create a unique, affordable, and well-designed jewelry
series came after years of commissioned, one-of-kind metalwork.
After completing his Master's Project on the subject of
integrating cast with forged forms, he still enjoys the
sculptural nature of working in wax and metal. He maintains
a 3-dimensional quality in his forms as opposed to 2-dimensional,
or flat, forms. |
