Artist's
Bio
Sisters
Anne and Jane Harvey grew up surrounded by almond orchards
in Chico, California. Their studio is now located on the redwood-forested
Mendocino Coast of Northern California. Anne's introduction
to the silver jewelry business came through a weekend visit
to Taxco, Mexico in 1984 while studying Spanish in Cuernavaca.
She fell in love with the quaint colonial town and made it
her primary residence for the next four years. In 1989 she
formed a partnership with her sister Jane, to stimulate their
creative talents for original designs. Offering a lighthearted
collection of handmade sterling silver jewelry, Anne & Jane
are inspired by everything from holiday traditions and familiar
proverbs to images of the natural world around them.
